The EuroMillions lottery was first launched in 2004 in Paris with draws occur every Tuesday and Friday night at 20:45 CET and consists of 5 primary numbers from a pool of 50 and 2 lucky star numbers from a pool of 12. To win EuroMillions Hotpicks, you must pick both the numbers you think will be drawn, and how many numbers you believe you will match.
During a standard draw, there are two luck star numbers which do not affect the EuroMillions Hotpicks.
EuroMillions conducts a number of Super Draws each year, these events exist outside the normal jackpot cycle, and if won, the prize does not roll over to the next draw. Super Draw prizes are usually substantially higher than a standard jackpot (usually above £100,000,000) and occur approximately twice per calendar year.
